anyway - saturday we went to the d-backs game. had a great time. and they even won. couldn't have turned out better. swore to myself that i would devote all sunday (minus the hour dhw is on) to preparing for my acc 440 test over 2 really hard chapters. well, i started about 10am and did not finish till 11pm. i mean i did take a few breaks. to eat (chocolate chip cookies, i swear that's all i ate yesterday), to wee, to check out facebook, and to make enchiladas for linc to take to fhe that i was ditching out on. around 8pm or so i ran into a computer problem trying to print the practice exam solutions and almost threw my laptop over the balcony. i had all ready taken this morning off work because i thought i had 3 tests today, but turned out only 1 test and 1 quiz that could be dropped. but it was a good thing i did. i went to school at 7am today, met up w/amy at 8am and we sat by taco bell in the mu until 1pm. there was just soo much information to cover. my brain was hurting for trying to cram all that information into it. its weird because when we would go over bonds,installment notes,leases,etc in class, i could follow along. while re-reading the chapters, i knew what it was talking about. but trying to do one of these problems was just insane. so i go to take the test, we have 75 minutes. the friggin thing is over 13 pages. i couldn't even finish. and i know what i did get done wasn't all right. prof robinson better curve!! i think i actually had to stifle tears.
so i should be studing for my mgt 440 test that is wednesday. but it just wouldn't be my style. i gotta wait until the last second possible. i thrive under pressure - hah!! no, i probably will reread one or two chapters tonight while waiting for my hair to dry.
i just want to say congrats to suzy on the new bubby... how special! heard she is a beauty!
omigod - have i told the denny's story?? i think not. don't ever eat at the denny's on rural & the 60. worst friggin service ever. we waited for everything - our waitress to take our order, to bring our cold food, and then to even pay our bill. but oh, they learned their lesson. better not piss off 2 people that had very little sleep and long days, because we will give them a piece of our minds, let me tell ya. and not tip. so as soon as we got home, we got on the website and complained. the very next day linc was called by 2 managers apologizing and giving us free food vouchers. it was great!
anyhoo- better hit the book then the hay. peace.
