sunday morning i woke up with my mid to lower back all jacked up. and i have no idea how it happened. i thought it may have something to do with the pilates i did last week, but there is no reason it would start hurting 5 days later. and it isn't going away. it is really making it hard to get my 4x a week workouts in. finally did one today. i am in soo much pain now....
the biggest loser was on tonight. it is crazy watching them shrink right before your eyes. really killed the candy bar craving i was having all day. had a bowl of whole wheat cereal. mmmm.
hit a plateau as far as the diet goes. lost a few pounds (not really trying to) and a few inches the first 2 weeks, but now as we approach the last 2, haven't really seen much of a difference. linc lost about 16lbs in the first 2 weeks, but put a couple back on since. he has a problem with portion control.
interesting thing happened at work yesterday. went in for my monthly check in with my super jennie. when i first started working at sunstate, she saw that i was in school for accounting and asked if i might be interested in an accounting job after i graduated. at that point in time i was. well, in this meeting she brought it up again. since i am not too sure where we are baby-wise, i said yeah i am still interested. she said that she would talk to the accounting department so that after i graduated they would keep me in mind for any openings.
well, turns out, there is an entry level position open right now. just my luck. i thought i would have a few more months to mill it over. and plus in a few more months i may have a better idea if 2 will soon be 3. well, i went in for a pseudo-interview for the job. if they can work with a part time employee, i pretty much got it. it is a pay increase so that is cool. nancy, the accounting lady, said that the position may turn into a full-fledge accountant position down the road, she wasn't too sure when, but i should keep that in mind, and it would be a lot larger of a pay increase.
she will let me know where they stand later this week or next. i guess i am kinda excited. not really what i was planning, but it is good to know that i have the option. for some reason, i am pretty good at accounting. when i was younger i never would have guessed in a million years that that is what i would end up being. oh well, as i always tell lincoln, a person is not defined by the job the do but the life they live.
