i am so close to be an asu alum. pure madness i say. just one day of classes and two finals in my way. i am beyond ecstatic. i've already picked up way too many movies to watch on my vacation next week.
month end starts tuesday at work. busy busy little bee. so i have been trying to get all my reading done asap. i finished marketing, finally. that book causes serious drowsiness. maybe i should keep it around for those sleepless nights i have way too often.
friday night i fell asleep on the couch while linc was working on some homework around 10:30. he tried to get me to wake up to go to bed but i refused because i was finally getting to sleep. i slept the whole night, still in my day clothes, contacts, and even my socks (i hate sleeping in socks) with linky's baby wobie wrapped around me. pure bliss.
linc wasn't too pleased. the boy can pass out in 2.3 seconds flat if you let him. as i type he is sleeping. and it is only 6pm. he has this next week off. he has to write his english paper due thursday night. he has it pretty much done but took the week off just in case. i think i will make him go to work a couple of days just because he has some more time off for disneyland and two days after that.
we have to let the apartment know tomorrow if we are staying or leaving come july 3rd. should i stay or should i go? good song. not sure who its by. but i digress. anyway. after much deliberation and complete bouts of depression, we are going to stay. at least another 3 months. maybe six. we have been looking for houses online for awhile. even went driving around. all the decent ones nearby and in our price range were sold within a day after we found it. plus we got a realtor and he was in jamaica for his honeymoon and just got back this week.
we don't really want a condo. perhaps a townhouse will suffice. and we also don't want to move out of city limits. not even aj. especially with these gas prices. our mortgage broker said that loan options differ if you go from a single family residence to a condo or towhouse. so many things to consider.
our credit ratings were pretty darn decent. our interest rate was ok. but we don't want to get cash strapped by getting into a house we really can't afford. well not at this exact moment in time. i will be going full time at work in 2 weeks and possibly getting a raise before my next review in august. linc thinks i should ask for one when i go full time, i am chicken beep. well, so we will be making more money. interest rates also go up in july. and come november i have my student loans to start paying back. someone just shoot me now.
all this house talk has really put a cork in the baby plans. after 5 months of trying, i am calling it quits. for now anyway. kinda sad. it's like you know what you want to do with the rest of your life as your job, but you just can't start yet. you have to do other things first. i would love to have a wee one to care for. i guess just not yet.
i hate being a grown up sometimes. i wish i could still have only simple decisions to make. instead of money issues, life issues, house issues. at least school will be done in just a few short days.
i wish i could just win the lottery. but then again, others problems will surface. i guess life isn't meant to be easy. or maybe i just take things too seriously.
hmmm....
on other totally unrelated topics. we rented superman 3 last night. wow, very lame. kinda made me sad. i hope the new superman movie will be totally kick trash so superman will be cool again. i think batman is still way cooler, but superman is a close second (losing ground quickly with the old 70's movies, but redeeming himself through tom welling in smallville). although, smallville is starting to make me a bit mad. i hate what they've done with lana lang. her character lacks dimension. she used to be cool. now she is just a whiny hoe. i am actually rooting for clark to get with lois or even chloe for that matter.
now i am just being a loser. i bessen get back to me homework.
