i have been sitting here for the last 2 hours or more playing stupid spider solitaire listening to my playlist on itunes.
i am getting bored and sleepy. but linc is out at his cousins' house and i can't fall asleep until he gets here. technically not true. i could if i tried, i just don't want to.
rented some more movies. just 3 this time: matchpoint, the producers, and transamerica.
matchpoint has the guy, the coach from bend it like beckham, and he also played elvis presley in a tv movie. anyway, i thought he was quite a looker, another irish guy. but after this movie, i found him to be, pardon the language, but for lack of a better word, a big ol' pussy. i did not like the movie. and i couldn't get over the ending. cheaters should never win or get away with it and i will leave it at that.
the producers is the movie version of the play, which is fantabulous. but it doesn't translate well onto film. max and leo (nathan lane and matthew broderick) seem overdone, but that is how it needs to be on the stage. and uma thurman is such an odd looking lady. she is pretty in a weird way but didn't strike me as graceful enough as ulla. i paid more attention to the laundry i was folding than the movie. although will ferrell was a scene stealer.
i haven't watched transamerica yet. thought i would save that for sometime this week when i am bored off my a.
i did watch the 40 year old virgin. finally. hilarious. and the bonus features totally made it worth owning.
saw the da vinci code tonight with b & j. i thought it was done very well. its been quite awhile since i have read the book so that made the movie better i am sure, since i wasn't trying to relate it to the book the whole time. i need to read the book again. i need a new copy though. my book is a little trashed... i also have some other books that i picked up about the "royal blood line" that i never finished, probably because of school. i will need to dive into those.
i was going to make mom's no bake cookies but i forgot a key ingredient. peanut butter. i do have my all-natural crap but i don't think it will be any good so i will just have to wait to attempt those.
well, i think i will continue my losing streak at spider.

I like the new look of your blog. Pink is always pretty. Its been to long since we hung out. Do you get a lunch break at work? We should try and meet up for a brunch or lunch some day. Alot of catching up to do.
