i cant get out of bed today or get you off my mind

i thought i would try out the tiny font and see just how tiny it is. and wow, it sure is tiny.

so lincoln has yet to arrive home and it is 10:13pm. i really should go to bed but i have a hard time falling asleep just waiting for him to come home safe and sound. works sucks.

i spent way too much time on myspace today. sometimes i hate it. it will irritate the crap out of me. but yet i can't turn away and find myself going from page to page. i love looking at pictures. even of people i don't know. but especially of people i used to know. i love seeing what age does to people. some people look exactly the same. like they haven't aged abit.

at work we have been having some computer problems ever since they upgraded some of our software. and it sucks because we depend on this software. excel has been a nasty beast the last few weeks. you try to work in it and say you are looking up something, it decided it doesn't like you anymore and kicks you out. then it tries to recover what it lost, only to give you hell for another 20 minutes until you reboot. drove us all friggin crazy. and on top of that, i have to month end rec's that i am responsible for that i just learned last month and i couldn't get them to balance. i finally today got one to work, but the other is just insane. it is just one of those things that i can not comprehend. just can't. i try. i draw my t-accounts (yes i am a friggin accountant, t-accounts are my life) and contemplate debits and credits. but this gain/loss account will be the death of me. and i had to open my big mouth and ask for some more work during the middle of the month to keep me from stabbing pencils in my eyes for entertainment and of course, they ganged up on me and decided i should take over all the sales tax for the several states we have branches in. i haven't decided what would have been worse, being blinded by pencil lead or dealing with sales tax forms....

on the lighter side of things, i am getting crazy excited about the possibility of this new house. it is pretty much it. we have decided this is what we want and the ball is in motion. now we just have to wait, get some fundage ready for the earnest deposit, and just wait for them to have our lot ready. we have our name on this lot that will be perfect for family functions, hopefully. plenty of parking. plus right down the street from the playground, pool, basketball courts, etc. we are going out there again on saturday to pick up the interior upgrades list so we can price exactly how much we are gonna have to get a loan for. i am leaning towards keeping the house pretty basic. just so the loan isn't astronomical. plus, as we get older, we will make more $ and therefore can do the upgrades ourselves. the main things we want would be tile in the kitchen and entryway, i think the entryway comes tiled, nice counters in the kitchen and not crappy carpet. we can do any painting ourselves and linc is quite the handyman and so are his brothers. like i told the ladies at work, i pretty much have my own work crew if i needed considering how many brother-in-laws i have. plus linc has helped many of them out, so i am sure they will help us, as long as we feed them. the house comes standard with a lot of great things, things that other builders would make you pay more for. plus we get a whirlpool fridge and washer and dryer. included. i am just so friggin excited.

and me and linc both get what we want. i get my house and linc gets his time frame.

plus we both are getting some mad hours at work which may suck now, but will totally help us out in the long run. my boss told me that i can expect to put in 5 hours of OT each week and more than ten the first week of the month when we close out the prior months accounts. sweet money making time.

ok, so it is now 10:29pm and still now word from my hubba-hubba-hubby. ok that was entirely too lame. i am actually embarrassed to have even typed such nonsense.

i better go. i must be delirious from lack of sleep or something.

love.
