"best wife"

during the christmas season, lincoln had a 20-something RM as his helper for UPS. the helper is one of lincoln's "halo buddies" who is friends with lincoln's cousins and has been over to our house on several occasions to play video games with lincoln and cousins and brother in laws and friends.

one day lincoln and his buddy "blue22" (halo gamertag) had stopped by our house for their lunch break from delivering packages. i had just given lincoln his christmas present. it was the week before christmas. i always get too excited and can't wait to see lincoln's expression. any way, his present this year was some halo posters put together all nicely in this cool frames and whatnot.

so on their lunch break, lincoln was showing blue22 his gift. blue22 was quite impressed.

later, while out on their route, blue22 asks lincoln - "does melanie cook?" and lincoln replied - "yes, she does." blue22 pondered this for a moment. then he says to lincoln - "so, not only does she cook for you, but she lets you have halo parties that last all night and she got you those awesome halo posters? man, she is like the best wife!"

i love how different people have different standards on what makes a good wife. but yes, i am, like, the best wife!

p.s. i trimmed the bangs and will keep them for awhile longer. thanks for the input.

p.p.s. i saw 27 dresses and cloverfield this weekend. both excellent movies. perhaps if i have the time at a later date, i will blog reviews.
