when i was a preteen, i did what was common of preteen girls. i cut out pictures of preteen and teenage actors and covered the walls of my preteen-esque room.

some of the boys that graced my walls i look at now and think - geez, what was i thinking? some of them grew up well and are still successful actors. some of them dropped out of the spotlight and now live normal, everyday joe-schmoe lives. others fell from grace hard.
case in point.

brad renfro died yesterday at age 25. i think he was 12-13 or so when i had him on my wall. he was in the movie the client, which was probably not something i should have watched at the time, came out in 1994, and dealt with mobs and murder and cover ups.
brad was pegged as someone to watch. he did a couple movies after, but all he was really known for was drugs and getting in trouble with the law. i think he even tried to steal a yacht...
sad.

That is funny, how you swooned over such little boys, they were a lot older when I swooned over them. I am almost sure if I hadn't have it the big time... JTT & I would have been in preteen bliss forever...
That's funny how you said:
sad.
Most of your preteen loves look like Lincoln.
