i am a big music person. i love to buy cd's and listen to the whole thing over and over until i know every word to every song. i love to see bands perform live too, because they never look like you think they will (even after looking at them in the cd's booklet).
lincoln is the kind of guy who likes the "singles" of bands (although he is a lot better at recalling album titles and release dates, he's weird like that). he is not as big a fan when it comes to live performances. too loud. too crowded. and i'm the one with a touch of claustrophobia.
we've been together for almost 11 years. we have been to one concert (and it was a cd release party for a band that lincoln knew through family/companion association). well, we've been to several shows for my brother's band but, sorry brian, i'm not counting those in this discussion.
i've been to several shows without him: bush, reel big fish, weezer, a couple edgefests, the warped tour...
this year, things will change. so far on the agenda lincoln and i have two upcoming concerts. both of bands i want to see. and as soon as weezer releases their fall tour dates, i am there!
there is also a chance that we will both come down with an illness of some sort on june 25th. and the only cure will be the all day concert/festival at cricket wireless pavillion in order to see one girl in particular that lincoln has a crush on and i want my hair like hers. but i tend to wilt at these all day concerts in az heat, so we may actually be healthy that day.
