gemma had her 2 month checkup today. she weighs 14lbs 4oz and is 25 inches long. she is in the 95% for both height and weight. the dr said she is like a 4 month old. as evident in the above picture taken before she got her yucky shots. i made poor lincoln hold her hands while the nurse gave her 3 shots. poor sweet gemma.
she has outgrown her bassinet and has started spending her nights in her crib. she does pretty well and sleeps 4-5 hours straight. problem is, she doesn't want to go to bed until super late. i try put her down early like 8:30-9. but she will nap for 15 mins then be up until 12 or 2. i have no idea how this will work when i go back to the office march 1st.
we've also been trying to introduce the bottle since she will be going to daycare. she is not liking it. we've tried a few different nipples and lincoln is the one to feed her. but she complains and cries. we'll keep trying. any tips??
she definitely has a personality and is starting to talk/coo all the time. like last night when she wouldn't go to sleep at 2am, it was too hard to be upset because she talked for a long time and was just so happy to be with me and lincoln. it was the best.

I always got my nursing babies to use the Playtex disposable system. I have seen my other nursing frieds babies use the Avent (?). I remember Beau was an angry little fella when being switched over to the bottle. Maybe Brandi knows of a good trick?
