Calder Two Months

stats:
height - 24.75in (90%)
weight - 13lbs9oz (95%)
head - 15.5in (30%) poor lil noggin
clothing size - some 3m, mostly 6m, some 6-9 (growing fast)
eye color - still undetermined - sometimes lt brown, sometimes dark blue or gray

i'm a few weeks behind and he has already changed so much in the past 2 weeks, but i want to document just up to the 2 months.

he is such a sweet baby. definitely a mama's boy.

he eats 4oz every 3 hours or so (more often if possible, but i try to hold out a little so he doesn't spit up as much). we tried nursing again, but he just wasn't having it. really turned him into a fuss bucket because he couldn't get his milk as fast as he wanted to and he gets a lot of air while nursing so he is extra gassy.

but i still diligently pump every 3 hours.

he has started to smile and giggle and coo. he hasn't really "laughed out loud" but he is really trying.

he hates laying on his tummy so all "tummy time" is done on my chest or lap.

he loves his binkie. gemma has been super helpful by shoving it back in mouth the moment it falls out.

he doesn't really like being left to entertain himself. he was attention, all the time. which is tough when his big sister isn't feeling well (another post on her latest coming soon).

he is sorta settling into a routine. as of 2 months he was sleeping 6 hours straight at night. he sleeps a lot in the morning and has most of his alert time in the afternoon and evening. right around dinner time.

all in all, he is just precious, like a little baby should be. i am grateful for every moment i get to spend with him.
