our wedding was great. it was better than anyone could have planned. i always felt a little bad for not inviting everyone to hawaii for the actual ceremony, but the way we had it wouldn't have worked if all 40 people in our immediate family had come too. it was great with just the 6 of us, the photographer/wedding planner, and the minister, who was great. if i had to do it all over again, i wouldn't change a thing. well maybe one thing. when exchanging the lei's the minister asked us to say a few words to each other. well linc went first and stole exactly what i wanted to say. that could be taken as a good thing, like we are so in tune with each other, but i had to stumble around for something good to say. it is very embarrassing to watch that part on the video. luckily with the wind you can't really hear what i said anyway.so i leave you all now with my favorite verse from the bible, one that i loved since life teen in 1997. and its the one that the minister picked for our ceremony, pretty nice coincidence, but really the verse is wedding appropriate - i don't think luck had anything to do with it.
Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful; it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends; 1 corinthians 13:4-8
