another week....
work was not bad today, not bad at all. we went to lunch at casa rey. the service flipping sucked. here i talk up the place to my coworkers and the 2 times we go the service sucks. but the food, you can't deny it, is fabulous!
this weekend will be another busy one. tonight we are going to the airport to welcome home talmage from portugal. then tomorrow morning we have to take the baby in for his shots. lil' rascal is getting expensive. then we will go to globe when linc gets home from work. we might stop on the way to globe at the model homes to check the progress and show off our house. then we have benny's play at night. then sunday morning we have church for talmage to give his talk. then we have food and festivities at the hansen house.
linc leaves for san diego either sunday night or monday morning. sad face. i wanted to go but don't have any time to take off. even bigger sad face. hope he has a good time. as for me, i won't be entirely alone, i do have my two baby boys.
we have now named the baby gremlin. officially it is still token, but he looks like a gremlin with his ears straight out to the sides and his eyes all wide and evil. and he runs around all wild. he can be sweet sometimes and that is when he is gizmo.
he was sporting a pink torpedo yesterday. egad i was so grossed out. i have never seen one on a cat before. first off, most of the kitties we had were girls and secondly, rufus was my only male one and he was fixed so young, i don't think it was possible. we are gonna wait awhile to get the baby fixed so he has a chance to hit puberty, but not wait too long that he pisses all over the place. plus, i really don't wan't to see any more torpedoes.
maybe that was a little tmi... but whatever, it's my blog, i don't care what you think benny and brian (the only ones that read this anyway).
house progress -
we are almost at the 25% mark of the earnest deposit saved. (well we are estimating how much it will be and we have 3 more months, at least, to come up with it.) YAY us!!! i totally know how to save when i want to.
well, i better end now. i have other, more productive, things to accomplish. although i probably will just play spider solitaire until logs gets home.

I read your blogs, too, it's not just Benny & Brian :-) I'm addicted to blogging (writing them myself and reading other people's).
Congrats on the house by the way!!
Also, your new baby kitty sounds so funny and looks cute in the pics! I remember seeing that little black cat at Taylor & Erin's before you adopted him. They tried to con us into taking one, too, but I couldn't do it. Goku's enough (plus we've got a dog, too).
