so we decided to come up to globe to see my pops after his shoulder surgery. plus we were bored after cleaning out our closets. we got to globe about eight o'clock. enjoyed some la casita (so not south beach approved) and then had some brownies and ice cream (again, breaking the law, breaking the law). stayed up until 1am watching a marathon of some wild show of pro's vs joe's. crazy ish.
woke up this morning and enjoyed a diet approved breakfast of scrambled eggwhites with lowfat cheese and canadian bacon. then we watched the bears and the saints. early afternoon it started to sprinkle then quickly turned to snow. within 20 minutes the ground was covered. and it snowed all afternoon. we made a quick trip to the grocery store for essentials and the roads were snowed over. i don't remember it snowing this often when i lived in globe. they just had a good storm last spring that kept them house bound for a few days.
they closed the roads to the valley for a wee bit today but have since opened them, but they recommend snow chains and 4 wheel drive. linc is all excited about getting another day off (he took 2 last week, lazy bum) but me, i have way to much crap to do (see prev blog) that i really need to get to work.
it is supposed to continue snowing all through the night and quite possible freeze over the roads. mom is off work tomorrow to take dad to a follow up apptmt. and benny is desperately hoping there is no school tomorrow. we will see what the road conditions are in the a.m. and attempt to go home.
i still have laundry to do and groceries to get. i guess we will think twice before decided to drive up to globe because we were bored!

huh...good point. i thought i did put THREE but obviously not. ah well, i was tired.
