who's julia? who's julia?

as you can see from the prev post, the house is coming along nicely. when it was just the frame for the concrete it looked so tiny. but now with the frame for the house going up, it looks huge! i'm very excited. i can't wait to move in. pick out some paint. a new couch. a new tv.

life has been pretty stressful the last few weeks, months rather. a lot of stuff has been going on with me and linc. no we are not getting a divorce. why does everyone think that? although if he plays any more burger time on nes i may have to take the cats (maybe just rufus) and leave!

i'm trying to be strong and optimistic. but it doesn't look good. we'll get through it, like we always do. we're good like that.

other stuff:

two of linc's siblings got new puppies. and they are soo friggin fabulous! i so want one. jana got a little chihuaha (spelling?). actually it was her husband's idea. she is not an animal fan. this little puppy is maybe six inches long. sweet little face like a boxer. and jana has 5 kids that all love to man handle the poor little rosie. so at fhe yesterday i kept the puppy in my lap and she slept the whole time. so sweet. i almost put her in my purse and left.

spencer got one too that is part scottie and part mutt. i think. he is soo cute. he has these little stubby legs but paws like a big dog. and he looks at you with his head cocked to the side and ears perked up. then he jumps up at you. but he can't quite tell where to land and always over/under shoots and kinda falls to the ground.

i even looked online at the classifieds to see how much a puppy would cost me. i looked at pugs and bostons. there was even a french bulldog/boston mix. prices ranged from 300 to 600 buckeroos. kinda steep for a dog (ru cost like 60). i was thinking that it might be good to get a puppy (a small breed) now and crate train in the apartment. that way if he has any accidents, it would be on the nasty cheap apartment carpet and not my nice overpriced new house carpet. i think maybe i will go to a shelter and see what they have to offer. with lincoln's approval of course.

i guess that is all i want to type today. i have laundry to put away. i love me some laundry. hah.
