here we go again

slackers....

half of 2007 has already gone by and i have only blogged a miserable 12 times. two years ago that would have been the total in a month. i guess not being at asu really limits the fascinating observations. all i have to talk about now is work, the house, and the puppy, all three of which are doing just fine.

i was sitting here to blog when pico let it be known that he had to wee so we went outside and he did his business (although he had yet to poo since i've been home, yes i am way too involved in the excretion habits of puppy) so we came back inside since it is so dang hot out there. then milo wanted food (the cat that lives on the patio or porch) so i fed him and the inside kitties. then pico sneaks off and leaves a couple of tootsie rolls in the same place he does every chance he gets. so i clean that up and give him his dinner. we have two ways to get pico to eat dinner. 1 - throw it around the bathroom floor so he thinks it is a game and chases each piece of kibble and 2 - act like tokey is going to eat his dinner. he doesn't like to share. we went with option #2 tonight. then i notice a white hair in my hair and proceed to search my entire head for any more. i've had a few this past year and i don't like it. i highlighted my hair a few months ago thinking that would distract my from the white hairs, but it didn't help.

by the way, pico lost his front teeth. it is very cute, his little pink gums.

hmm, what else?

i've been gathering boxes for our upcoming move and have them stacked behind our couch. the cats think it is friggin christmas, or hanukkah in rufus's case, after all he is jewish :) but they climb up and down them all day, have king of the hill competitions, take their 23 hour naps on the highest perch, and just have a jolly good time. they have already broken 2-3 boxes, and the others have covered in hair during their competitions.

well, i have nothing new to report. i will have to come up with something fabulous for the next edition.

found a wonderful website with quotes on every topic, commonly used by scrapbookers (quotegarden.com). i leave with this morsel to ponder.

After scolding one's cat one looks into its face and is seized by the ugly suspicion that it understood every word. And has filed it for reference. ~Charlotte Gray

love.
