return of the ru

rufus is back. i really thought i would never see him again.


this morning lincoln calls me at work. he was downstairs eating breakfast when he heard some distant meowing. after looking for tokey (who has been very vocal lately) he realized that it wasn't token, but rufus! at our back door. in he walks, straight for his food. he scarfed then went upstairs for the litter box. token just followed, all wide eyed. he was probably just as surprised as we were.

after looking him over, i can tell he has lost quite a bit of weight. he was always my fat boy with a chubby belly. but his jiggle belly is almost completely gone and he just feels so much lighter.

but at least he is home :)
