what a weekend!

friday was fairly uneventful. lincoln worked late and after he got home we went for a late dinner at uncle bear's where we could have sandwiches with our kareoke.

saturday, i tortured myself at the gym while lincoln helped move talmage. then we went to the diamondbacks game. my work has season tickets which are normally reserved for the higher ups and guests, but occasionally they trickle down. nobody else was available, so i ended up with 4 tickets ($215 a pop) plus reserved parking. lincoln called up a ups buddy & gf from his old center (who moved into a house less than a mile from ours) and the four of us enjoyed a rather lackluster ball game but it was fun all in all.

after the game, lincoln's buddy treated us to a nite of comedy at the tempe improv. the main comic was robert schimmel. he was pretty good.

then today after sleeping in till after 10, we did our normal lazy sunday things: breakfast, balance bank account, finish laundry, etc. then we realized we needed to pick up a few things at the store. one thing in particular - rock band 2.

yes, we are nerds. we bought rock band 1 last november and still play together, almost once a week. rock band 2 has 100 more songs (in addition to the songs we already have from rock band 1). it might be a late night tonight.
