next up in the produce aisle

status: 18 weeks
produce comparison: bell pepper (or large deli pickle...)

monday is my next appt. then the following week i can have my 20 week ultrasound. although lincoln and i are waiting to find out what we are having, i can't wait to see the baby again. my last ultrasound was months ago and i miss seeing the lil creature.

we have been knocking out some house projects since my last blog. garage is cleaned out and organized. loft is painted. baby's room is painted, mostly. we are trying to be fancy and stripe a wall, but lincoln doesn't trust my taping off skills (neither do i) and his work week was rough so he didn't get to it in time for me to paint the stripes on this furlough friday. i'm not really sure what to do with myself in the meantime. i had my whole day planned around painting stripes. and i am such a nerd about these things. i measured the wall and then graphed it out in excel so i could have a precise pattern. but when i tried to map it out on the wall (in a purple crayon that pico tried to eat after every stripe) i somehow was short 3 inches. so i had to redo it all.

painting is tiring. i'll be glad to be done. today i'll probably watch a movie or try to finish the 3 books i am halfway through. and i have a lunch date with the logs at the san tan mall. yay!

in other news, lincoln and i will be going to san diego for comic-con in 2 weeks. lincoln went last year and i mocked him relentlessly for weeks before. until i saw the schedule of events. then i texted him every 5 minutes with who he needed to stalk for me. all to no avail but he did get to meet who he wanted to.

so this year, we got tickets for the first day of 4 (4 days would have been over kill for me). they just posted the schedule of events and we both lucked out. the main reason linc is going is happening on thursday and there will be plenty of famous people to keep my attention. including the twilight: new moon cast!

although i've watched the movie (3x) i still didn't think it was that great. this next one looks better. but the books were so fun to read. plus, who can't pass up a chance to possibly see some relevant famous people, right?

then we will probably beach it, see if my cuz is available, and just relax a little. can't wait.

Ahh, the ultrasounds. I still look at those photos from time to time. It's amazing to look back and see what Niran looked like and how much he changed inside of me. Enjoy it!

Enjoy Comicon too, I don't know if meeting a celebrity would be worth everything else there. I'm sure one day we will go.
