produce section : english hothouse cucumber. last week it was a rutabaga. ridiculous.
so far everything's going fine. besides the kidney thing. which went away within a week or so of the er trip. i'm on antibiotics for the rest of the pregnancy so that probably is helping.
the baby likes to kick me all day and all night. mostly in the ribs. and i've seen the lil veggie move across my tummy which was quite freaky.
had to do the glucose test today. i thought it wouldn't be so bad since i am a bit of a sugar kid. but even now, hours later, i'm still feeling weird. and slightly shaky. i'll hear back in a week if i need to do the longer test. if not, i'll see my doc again in 2 weeks.
i asked the doc today about my weight gain. i feel like i'm huge but most of it is my belly. she said i am on track and i can expect to gain roughly another 25 lbs by the time i have the baby. i'm gonna weigh as much as my aerobics instructor brother (ha - kidding, he teaches kickboxing, but i like to tease).
i'm slowly starting to lose steam when it comes to getting things done around the house. i get tired just going up the stairs sometimes. plus i have a lot of "growing pains" that make normal movement difficult.
i've been working on putting shelves up in my study/office/den/whatever fancy name you want to call the computer room. it has been taking weeks. and i don't have enough "man power" to accomplish most of it so poor lincoln has to do a lot of the hard work. all i hear is "stupid shelves", "these shelves are stupid", etc. and he does it in a voice that reminds me of his brother taylor who apparently is mimicking someone named morris.
anywhoo - i guess that's a good enough update. now back to my furlough friday activities. gotta get the house tidied up for my super cool college student little brother's visit for the weekend.

Pregnancies are so much fun and well worth all of that work and exhaustion! I would not want to do it all the time though! Nine months two different times will be plenty!
Niran never moved across my belly. He would just kick the same spot over and over, which really just looked like a muscle spasm. I still want to see that movement though.
And that glucose test is horrible! I thought the same thing going into it as you did. I did not like it and I had to do it twice because the lab decided I should take the glucose and have blood drawn, but no labwork to go with it. I feel bad for the little babies they just go crazy because of it!
Take care and enjoy your last couple of months!
My super cool visit that didn't even happen...still really bummed about that too.
All I could think of with the aerobics instructor comment was Lincoln's "Ain't no lie, bye bye bye" dance move. It made me laugh.
Well your college brother bailed, and your AI brother worked on your shelves while your husband slept. Blog that!
