the party itself was great. except for one thing. not sure if any of the guests noticed, but my annoying kidneys decided to act up the night before and i was actually in a lot of discomfort for the entire weekend.
i made a special trip to the OB friday morning because i had some "issues". was hooked up to the fetal heart monitor and had an ultrasound. baby h was just fine. plus the OB said "big o' head" during the u/s which cracked me up (and made me nervous). so we chalked it up to just one of those things...
fast forward to friday night. pukey mcpukerson. but not totally uncommon for me in this 3rd trimester. my heartburn causes me to puke at least 2x a week. but this time was different and i felt a little rough. my mom was staying with me so saturday morning, she and lincoln handled all the party stuff and sweet sister in law judy came early to set up.
i literally had the a/c cranked and i still was a sweaty mess. i probably drank 10 bottles of water saturday and by sunday afternoon, my kidneys decided to cut me some slack. i'm guessing i finally passed whatever was causing the problems.

Sorry i missed the shower! It's been tough trying to get out of the house! Looks like the shower was a hit! And that cake and cupcakes are amazing! I have never seen anything like that!

Still bummed I had to miss it! I'm glad it went well though. The quilt is sooo close to being done. Dusty is going on full time Niran watch this morning so it can be finished at last! That cake is sweet...and nice couches ;o)
